Package Two of TRAIN law is in effect. This prompted me to create another Withholding Tax Calculator for 2023 onwards, incorporating the changes of the following: TRAIN Law, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.

Social Security System (SSS) Contribution Calculator for Employers and Employees 2023-2024 Philippines

 

Effective January 2023 until 2024 the employee SSS contribution will increase. The lowest contribution amount will be Php180 (previously Php135) and the ceiling contribution remains at Php900.

UPDATE: The Pag-IBIG Fund halted this year's premium increase (Pag-IBIG defers contribution hike to 2024 to ease burden on members: official). Pag-IBIG will still be using the ceiling contribution of Php100 instead of Php150 for the year 2023. Effective January 2023, the HMDF or better known as Pag-IBIG will increase its contribution rate. This pag-ibig contribution increase was supposed to be set in 2021, but was deferred to 2022 and was moved again this year.

UPDATE: As per the latest news, the government issued an order to suspend this year's PhilHealth premium increase (PhilHealth premium hike halted in 2023). PhilHealth will still be using the 4% premium instead of 4.50% for the year 2023 until further notice. Effective January 2023, the PhilHealth contribution will (again) increase. The lowest combined (employer-employee) contribution amount will be Php450, while the ceiling contribution is Php4050.
