This is practically what you need to survive the unpredictable state of the financial market. By utilizing the power of TIME, you can ride both the upside and downside of your investments.

However, many investors both seasoned and new are growing impatient with their returns. This led them to switch strategies and ended up losing money in the process. If you think about it, the likely culprit of this change of mindset can be attributed to some social media posts.

Topics about financial success methods posted on social media to inspire others can sometimes have the opposite effect. This is because we as human beings, tend to doubt and compare our capabilities when we see others (especially people that we know) just breezing through life. Doubt and Comparison are dangerous habits to have in life if not carefully and actively controlled. This is the very reason why many are still baited to quick-rich schemes and ended-up getting scammed.

What Should You Do to Avoid These Habits?

Control your exposure to Social Media. If you read posts and what you feel is envy, pride, and even to the point of cursing yourself because of your life situation. Then you are already overexposed.

Shift your focus to something more Productive. Data collected by statista.com shows that we spend almost 11 hours a day on the internet. A huge chunk of this, which is around 4 hours is spent on social media platforms. If your business or job is related to social media then you are of course exempted.

Reading is one of the indispensable habits of successful people. So make it a habit to set aside at least an hour for reading. However, choose to read printed materials. Studies show that reading information from paper is much more personal and can easily be absorbed by the brain compared to reading the information via computer screen.

Consciously look at the bright side of things. Always consider each situation you encounter as having two sides, the good and the not so good. This is a very hard thing to do but this is a necessary key to success.

Acknowledge your failures. As you journey to your goals, you will inevitably experience failures. This is the basic application of Murphy's law - Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Accept it, be emotional about it, learn the lesson, and move on.

Celebrate your successes. Being able to wake up the next day and can still work with your goals is more than enough to have a celebration. Be thankful.

Takeaway

Success can manifest in many forms, be it wealth, health, self, family, community, or Faith. Whatever form of success you want to pursue, the path will never be easy but never impossible.
